Product Description

The Sun Certified System Administrator for Solaris 9 Operating System Upgrade Exam is geared toward those candidates with one or more years of experience in a Solaris Operating System (Solaris OS). The examination will include multiple choice scenario-based questions, drag and drop and fill-in questions. It will test only on the new Solaris 9 OS system administration features. This exam is for candidates who have already successfully completed the Sun Certified System Administrator Exam, both Part I and Part II of a previous version of the Solaris OS (2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 7, 8). Reseller exams are not applicable. Candidates who are not previously certified cannot take the upgrade exam. In addition, the test candidate's Solaris OS Certification must have been in the complete Solaris Certification track (that is, the student must have taken and passed the Solaris 7 OS System Administration I and the Solaris 7 OS System Administration II exam). Those test candidates with a "mix and match" certification do not qualify. Reseller exam to not apply as prerequisites.
