Sun gives all employees the opportunity to have donations to their favorite nonprofit organizations amplified.

Employee Grant Matching Program

— Sun employees helped rebuild the Cameron Parish, Louisiana home which was severely damaged by Hurricane Rita.
The Sun Foundation matches qualified employee charitable contributions dollar for dollar up to $1,000 per employee per year, for all employees worldwide. In 1995, Sun became one of the first companies in our sector to extend our Employee Grant Matching program globally, making it available to all Sun employees. To date, the program has mobilized more than $17.3 million in charitable contributions.

Our commitment to support and encourage our employees' community participation goes beyond our Employee Grant Matching program. We have organized virtual global giving drives that have helped to raise funds to cover the cost of serving more than 100,000 meals in 12 countries. We continue to try to make it easier for employees to contribute and receive matching funds, and are streamlining and driving efficiencies into our process.
