How to save a file.

Saving your file is very important and should be done before you begin writing. When saving your document, you have to give it a name.

You should also save while working through your document to ensure you don't lose any of your work.

   
Click "File".
  Click "Save As" from the drop down menu.
   
You will see a "dialog box" like the one below. See the arrow, this is where you type the name of your file and save it in a directory that is significant to you.
