How to modify your slideshow.

As you can see from the image below, there are many options available to you in StarOffice Impress that will allow you to create a great presentation. The colored arrows point to the different windows that allow you to format your presentaion. At any time, you can click on in these windows and move back and forth between the slides.

Presentation Screen

After you have created your slides, you can change the order they appear by simply clicking in the "Slides" window and dragging them to the place you want in your presentation.

You can also change the font and font size in your slides. (refer to the directions given in PART 1, "Styles"). As well, you can modify the layout of your slides, create handouts and view slides. The steps below will show you how.

MODIFY SLIDE LAYOUT
   
In the "Tasks" window, click "Layouts".
  In this window there are a group of pictures of all the layout options there are in StarOffice Impress, choose the layout you prefer by clicking it.
  The layout you have selected will appear in the main presentation window, now you can continue to create your presentation.
   

CREATING HANDOUTS
   
Click "Handout" from the tabs bar on top of you presentation window.
  Click the layout you prefer. The layout you selected will appear on the screen.
  Click print Print to create handouts.
   

VIEW SLIDES
   
  Click "Slide Sorter" from the tabs bar on top of you presentation window, all the slides you have created will appear.
  You can get a look at how your presentation is going to look when it is finished. You can also use this view to move your slides around.
   

The settings of your presentation can be changed too. Here, you are given different options that will allow you to change the way your slideshow is presented.

PRESENTATION SETTINGS
   
Click "Slide Show" on your menu bar.
  Here, you choose what you want to modify.
   

Don't forget to save Save your work!

You are now ready to view your presentation!
