2007 Corporate Social Responsibility Report

In some cases, Sun's public policy efforts are initiated by our employees. For example, in 2007, Sun's Gay, Lesbian, and Friends (GLAF) employee network partnered with Sun's leadership team to secure the company's official endorsement of a bill in the U.S. House of Representatives. The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), introduced as H.R. 2015, is a proposed federal law that prohibits discrimination against employees on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.
