Our Approach
At Sun, we promote diversity in our supply chain. Spreading our procurement more widely supports social and economic development. aims to expand our supplier base to include companies that are:
- Owned by ethnic minorities, women, or service-disabled veterans
- Qualified as disadvantaged by the U.S. federal government
- Located in historically underutilized business areas
We report our level of business activity with small businesses to the U.S. government annually. The U.S. Defense Contract Management Agency may audit our procurement with minority- and women-owned and other small businesses annually.

Performance and Goals
As part of our commitment to strengthen Sun's Supplier Diversity program, we've undertaken an extensive review of all its aspects.
As we consider ways to further develop our Supplier Diversity program, we'll also establish appropriate goals and metrics and resume reporting program data and goals in our 2009 CSR report.
