Introduction Global Product Returns Hazardous Materials

Electronic components and equipment naturally reach an end of life. Sun believes we have a responsibility to design and plan for this phase in our products' life cycles. As a result, Sun has implemented a global product returns program that recycles, reclaims, and reuses components or entire systems. End users can return their end-of-life equipment to Sun for recycling, reuse, or proper disposal.

Sun's Global Product Return Centers

Australia

Sun recycles Customer's Equipment in an environmentally responsible manner.

Customer contacts Sun.
Freight Management Partner (FMP) coordinates collection of equipment.
FMP sends equipment to approved Recycler.
Recycler recycles equipment & provides report/certificate to Sun.

Note: Customer is charged freight to have returned equipment recycled. No freight charged for upgrade returns. Contact: Sun Office

Program Returns Definitions

e-Waste Returns: Sun will assist you with collecting and recycling of your product in an environmentally responsible manner. Upon completing the form, a Sun representative will provide the consumer with information as to how to return the equipment.
WEEE Returns: Sun will assist you in disposing of your product in an environmentally responsible manner (European Countries only).
Install Base Business Returns: Please use this form if you are ready to return used Sun and other suppliers' systems to us as part of the Sun Upgrade Advantage Program.

Try & Buy Returns: While we hope you enjoyed a successful trial of a Sun product, we recognize that you still may wish to return it.
Customer Return for Credit: If, for any reason, the system you received from Sun is damaged, has faulty parts or is incorrect, we will gladly send you a replacement unit or part, or provide you with a customer credit. Please use the form to start the return process.
