Scott logged 15,000 in five days traveling to Korea and then Manhattan where he met with customers, partners and government officials to talk about making Java even more ubiquitous. He also addressed a crowd of more than 5,000 at The World Business Forum in New York City.

The Active Chairman's travels took him to Scandinavia and the UK this time, where Scott pushed Sun's open strategy and promoted Sun's continued leadership in innovation.

Scott spent a few days in 100+ degree heat visiting customers, promoting Sun's leadership in open source and enjoying some BBQ.
22 May 2007 Scott in Japan and India
Scott's globe trotting continued as he traveled to Tokyo, Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore to promote Sun's open source strategy with government leaders and CEOs in Japan and India, all in the name of economic progress and eliminating the digital divide.

Scott's travels recently took him to Beijing where he pushed for open standards and open policies to drive economic and social progress. In a country where less than 20 percent of its 1.3 billion citizens are connected to the Network, the opportunity for growth is as enormous as the city's excitement as it prepares to host the 2008 Summer Olympics.
