When Sun employees support a charity, there's an unusual bonus — Sun matches their donations. Gift matching gives employees the opportunity to support a wide variety of institutions, small and large, local, national or international.
For the U.S. Program:
The program allows U.S. employees the opportunity to double every charitable donation they make to their favorite non-profit organizations, up to $1,000 per fiscal year per employee.
The U.S. Sun employees have access to a secure, online tool for processing their requests and for non-profit organizations to verify donations. As with online banking, employees can complete their transactions quickly and safely, getting Sun's contributions to their causes faster and allowing employees to view their request status and giving history.
For the International Program:
International Sun employees have equal opportunity to double every donation they make to their favorite nonprofit organizations. Non-U.S. employees can have their eligible contributions matched, with no fiscal year limit. In Australia, Scotland and England, Sun employees participate in a special "Give As You Earn" program, where scheduled donations are deducted from their pay checks and directly donated to their charities of choice, along with the Sun Foundation's matching gift.
