Christine Bucklin

Christine Bucklin is responsible for Corporate Strategic Planning, reporting to the CEO of Sun Microsystems. Prior to joining Sun she was the chief operating officer at Internet Brands, Inc., where she was responsible for day-to-day operations across the company, including sales, customer service, product development, and other functions. For seven years, Christine was part of the executive team that grew a startup into a diversified $85 million company. She has a background in global strategic consulting, having spent seven years at McKinsey & Co. She was the leader of McKinsey's Sales Force and Channel Management Practice, where she built an extensive record of driving bottom-line impact in client organizations in the retail, health care, energy and consumer electronics industries. A summa cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College, with a degree in mathematics, Christine was the valedictorian of her class. She went on to earn her MBA at Stanford, where she distinguished herself by graduating first in her class.
