Sun Microsystems CEO, Scott McNealy and Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer are holding a press conference today to highlight the progress between the two companies one year after their landmark agreement. The two companies have made progress in building a productive, multi-level work relationship and set the foundation for a number of initiatives to address interoperability needs. As part of this event the two companies will announce new identity specifications and additional measures for interoperability.
