CommunityOne West 2009
June 1-3, 2009 | Moscone Center, San Francisco, California
Open. Innovation. Choice.
CommunityOne is a three-day event in San Francisco that focuses on open source innovation and implementation. It brings together developers, technologists and students for technical education and exchange. In 2009, CommunityOne will focus on the free and open platforms, tools and services that can be found powering the Internet, running enterprises, and enabling high-performance computing.
The conference's programs on June 1 are the result of a public call for papers and will offer more than 80 sessions led by contributors of dozens of open source and community projects, including Ajax, MySQL, GlassFish, JavaFX, OpenOffice.org, OpenSolaris, NetBeans, Groovy, PHP, Apache, Android, Jython and Django.
JavaOne 2009
June 2-5, 2009 | Moscone Center, San Francisco, California
Java is about innovation, imagination, power... And it's everywhere. Every day there's a new device, a new application, a new widget, a new way -- and they all use Java. In today's environment and economy, there's a need and opportunity for innovation and expression -- on the client, in the enterprise, in the cloud... And it all starts with Java and the community that makes it so powerful and pervasive.
In its 14th year, the JavaOne conference will bring together thousands of attendees who will get hands-on experience, network with their peers, and have the opportunity to connect with technology experts and industry leaders. With more than 200 technical sessions, 100+ birds of a feather, and hands-on labs, the 2009 JavaOne conference is the definitive venue to highlight the latest implementations, innovations and success stories in Java technology, scripting languages, Rich Internet Applications (RIAs), cloud computing, open source and more.
