SUN DEMONSTRATES COMMITMENT TO ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS AT THE DESKTOP LINUX SUMMIT
At the 2004 Desktop Linux Summit, April 22-23 in San Diego, California, Sun Vice President of Desktop Solutions Curtis Sasaki will showcase the
company's efforts and progress in providing customers with alternative
desktop technology solutions. Sasaki will lead a general session at the
event, entitled "Learning from Customers to Reduce Barriers to Enterprise Linux Desktops" on Friday, April 23 at 2 p.m. In addition, Sasaki and various Sun officials will be hosting a breakfast demonstration at 8 a.m. on Friday at the Del Mar Fairgrounds featuring the upcoming Java Desktop System Version 2 and the Project Looking Glass 3-D desktop prototype. Sun also will be making several announcements at the Summit demonstrating the company's growing momentum in the desktop software market.
