Arthur L. Money

Arthur L. Money brings more than 45 years of defense and intelligence industry management and engineering experience to the Sun Microsystems Federal Board of Directors. Money is currently the president of ALM Consulting, specializing in command, control, and communications along with intelligence, signal and information processing.

Money led government IT efforts for both private and government entities. He was head of the government division for Terremark Worldwide as well as president of ESL, Inc. before it was consolidated with TRW's Avionics and Surveillance Group. Money's public appointments include serving as Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control Communications and Intelligence as well as the Chief Information Officer of the Department of Defense. Money also has served as the assistant secretary of the Air Force for Research, Development and Acquisition.

Throughout his career, Money has specialized in the design and development of intelligence collection and analysis capabilities and airborne tactical reconnaissance systems. Money has been recognized for his vision, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
