End-to-End RFID Solutions

A series of RFID Industry Solutions that address the needs of customers in various industry verticals are available. Sun RFID Industry Solutions are supported by best-of-breed partners and provide a complete, end-to-end solution based on the collective knowledge of real-world deployments by Sun and its partners. The Sun RFID Industry Solution for Warehouse Management provides a best practices guideline to build a RFID solution to improve warehouse management and automate advance shipment notification (ASN) processes in the manufacturing industry. The Sun RFID Industry Solution for Physical Asset Tracking comprises Sun and Partner products and provides a complete, tested solution for non-networked physical asset tracking using RFID technology. The solution can be used to complement existing IT Asset Management solutions that track networked IT assets by using RFID to track assets that are disconnected from the network. The Sun RFID Industry Solution for Drug Authentication brings together RFID and other key enterprise technologies, from Sun and partners, to build a complete drug authentication solution. The Industry Solution lays out a couple of different implementation approaches, to accommodate projects of different scope and size.
