Description: SuperLogging is a full featured logging utility. It is used for recording events and messages in user configurable formats. The main features are: It is fully dynamically configurable either programmatically or by a Swing tool. The configurable attributes include the followings: Choice of configuration scope: Global Dynamic, Global Static and Singleton. Choice of mode: Quiet, Verbose and Conditional. Class registration: log messages will be printed out for registered classes only. Log level threshold setting: lower level log requests will be filtered out. It provides source code level tracing facilities which show both log messages and source code with the line in question be marked. It supports distributed computing and works well in clustering environment. All log messages are recorded in one central place, regardless which EJB(TM) component or JSP(TM) technology runs on which server. It is guaranteed that log messages are in chronological order. All log statements used in the source code do not need be removed for production releases. Log messages can be dynamically filter out and the performance penalty will be minimum. It provides built-in email alert method and alert interval control. It provides built-in email alarm method and alarm interval control. Alarm can send email notification according alarm subjects. It provides email methods which allow sending email by a simple method call. It is operating system neutral and J2EE(TM) platform/EJB component vendor neutral. An open source wrapper is provided for preventing vendor lock in.
