Third-party Solaris Device Driver Reference List

Following is a reference list of third-party Solaris/OpenSolaris device drivers on x86 platform. You can download these Solaris device drivers by clicking the URL in the Download Site column. Most of these third-party Solaris drivers are used by hardware devices that have not been certified by the Sun Hardware Certification Test Suite.

All drivers listed meet the following 3 requirements:

  • Free for all users
  • Binary code is available for all users
  • After installation, the device data of all devices which are supported by the driver must be added into the file of /etc/driver_aliases.
