Downloaded this driver while installing OpenSolaris on a AMD64 Athlon64X2 machine with ASUS M2R32-MVP machine. During: # pkgadd -d . SKGEsolx I got some errors and warnings complaining that the drivers was loaded, but not attached. I noticed the line: /usr/sbin/update_drv -a -i '"pci1297,c231"' skge Which "as-is" did not work. Than I run the "Device Driver Utility": System->Administration->Device Driver Utility which under - Network Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8001 Gigabit Ethernet Controller Gave: - DevPatth: /pci@0,0/pci1002,4384@14,4/pci1043,811a@4 With that information I did: /usr/sbin/update_drv -a -i "pci1043,811a" skge That worked and attached the driver. A few seconds later the network was up and running.

For the Shuttle SN95G5 with Solaris 10 01/06 and the latest x64 skge drivers the update_drv entry should read pcic231,1297

The "/usr/sbin/update_drv -a -i "pci1043,811a" skge" is also working for ASUS K8V motherboard. (+ reboot -- -r)
