System is set to dual boot Windows XP and Solaris 10. Partitioned drive leaving space for a 2 GB fat 16 partition which is shared between the two OS's. Selected "custom" install on the Solaris install--this gave me the option to use the boot loader in Solaris 10; giving it a small 11mb partition. The boot loader is the active partition and is capablile of booting Windows XP. In all 4 partitions, the Windows system partition, the Shared partition, the boot loader partition and the Solaris partition. Recomend using the "unofficial" install guide from Sun, a few choice searches on opensolaris.org, and a few of the news groups; all are excellent references for getting everything together before you start.
