Reported to Work (Solaris 10, Solaris Developer Express Only) Note: All OpenSolaris entries are 'Reported to Work'
Runs on Solaris Versions:
Solaris 9 04/03 to Solaris 10 05/08 (including Solaris Express, Developer Edition 01/08) OpenSolaris 2008.05
CPU Type:
Intel Pentium M
Num CPUs:
1
General Notes:
Use the VSEA adapter setting at 1600x1200 and 16million colors and it works fine
however the ATI 7500 Video can use the XFree86 Porting Kit version 4.3.0.1 which
is available at
http:/www.tools/de/solaris/xf86/xf86-4.3.0.1-video.pkg.bz2
The Onboard Ethernet card is an Intel Pro VE 10/100 it works fine
but you must first boot the system, log in as root
and then add the line
iprb "pci8086,1031"
into the /etc/driver_aliaes file
After that as root do
# touch /reconfig
then
# sys-unconfig
where the # represents the root prompt
This will force you to reconfigure everything again, but this time
the Ethernet card will be recognized and can be used.
