The first configuration was tested on Solaris 10 8/07 with patch128397-02 installed. Hardware configuration:

Driver information: download Solaris 10 patch 128397-02 for Broadcom NetXtreme II 5708S ethernet controller from http://sunsolve.sun.com
Installation requirement for network install:
Apply patch 128397-02 to miniroot of Install server to enable PXE boot and install.
