Given the prtconf output, it seems that this submission (a year ago, so lots has changed) used a 3COM PCI based networkcard and not the motherboard chipset. Using the drivers from http://homepage2.nifty.com/mrym3/taiyodo/nfo-0.8.1.tar.gz which I recompiled with Studio 11 (gcc should be OK too) I got the nVidia nForce 150 chipset network running. The only problem I had (don't know if it's the driver) that I had to specify an IP address and not the hostname in /etc/hostname.nfo0. However YMMV.
