• x86: How to Print a Report on Disk Sets Available for Import — Beginning with the Solaris Express 6/06 release, you can import partial disk sets in Solaris Volume Manager. This procedure shows how to check the status of disk sets in your system. Based on the status, you can then follow the recommendations provided by Solaris Volume Manager.
• x86: How to Create a RAID-1 Volume From the root (/) File System — How to use GRand Unified Bootloader (GRUB) to create a RAID-1 volume from the root (/) file system on an x86 machine. GRUB has replaced the Device Configuration Assistant (DCA) in the Solaris OS. Available in the Solaris Express 8/06 release.

The following routing procedures are available for both the Solaris 10 and Solaris Express releases. They are covered in System Administration Guide: IP Services.

• How to Configure an IPv4 Router — This procedure explains how to configure a system with multiple interfaces as an IPv4 router. Use the procedure to configure the additional interface, and then enable IP forwarding and routing protocols. The steps are followed by an example of configuring a network's default router.
• How to Add a Static Route to the Routing Table — This procedure explains how to manually add routes to a system's routing table. Use the procedure to update the routing table on any system that does not run dynamic routing protocols, including single-interface hosts, multihomed hosts, and routers.
• How to Create a Multihomed Host — This procedure explains how to configure a system with multiple interfaces as a multihomed host. Use the procedure to enable packet forwarding and, optionally, dynamic routing, on the multihomed host.
• How to Enable Dynamic Routing on a Single-Interface Host — This procedure explains how to enable dynamic routing on a host that must obtain routing information independently from any routers on its local network.
• How to Configure an IPv6-Enabled Router — This procedure explains how to configure a router to provide IPv6 routing services. Use the procedure to enable IPv6 on the router, run IPv6 routing protocols, and advertise the IPv6 site prefix to other IPv6-enabled systems on the local link.
