» IP to Hex
This Perl script converts a (.) dot-notated IP address from a command prompt to a hexadecimal value. This can be used for the tftp inetboot image, when jumpstarting Solaris hosts.
» unix2human (epoch time)
You can convert UNIX time (epoch) to human-readable time with this script; it requires gawk to run.
» perl_email (SMTP)
Here's a script that sends emails via a local or remote SMTP server. Useful if you don't want to run sendmail on your server.
» perl_email_attachment (SMTP)
This script sends emails with binary attachments via a local or remote SMTP server.
