About the Authors
OLAV MAASSEN is a courseware developer for Sun Educational Services and a Master Instructor for Sun Ed in the Netherlands. He is a certified Java technology Developer as well as an Enterprise Architect.
Stephen Stelting currently works for the education group in Sun Services, teaching customers and Sun trainers about Sun and Java technologies. Over the past decade, Steve has worked in the software development, consulting and technical training fields for customers in the U.S. and Europe. Steve has spoken at JavaOne since 2000, and has recently hosted technical sessions at the SunNetwork conference and the Colorado Software Summit. He has filed two patent applications for Sun and is a co-author of the book Applied Java Patterns, by Prentice-Hall (ISBN 0130935387).
