Larry Wake is a Group Manager for the Solaris Operating System at Sun Microsystems.

He has worked with the UNIX operating system in various technical and product marketing capacities since 1979, having administered and supported Sun systems since 1984; he joined Sun in 1989.

Larry is the co-author of "Practical XView Programming" (a topic he freely admits may no longer actually be practical), published by John Wiley and Sons.
