Prabhat Hegde has been at Sun for eight years and holds the position of Staff Engineer in the Sun Java Enterprise System Integration group. Prabhat has worked on various projects in the area of multilingual support, including the Solaris OS and X-Windows, and has also been a key contributor to Indian Language and BiDi Text Rendering and Layout support in Motif, GTK, Gecko (Mozilla), and OpenOffice.

During the past year, Prabhat has been driving the feature requirements of Java ES Common Installer and influencing processes and systemwide behavior of Java ES product integration.
