Graphics Library

The Graphics Library is a dynamic listing of ALL images in the /images directory on sun.com. The goal of the web design is to centralize component specific images to allow for easier QA and change management. This tool is meant to help users find images in the central /images directory so that they may reference them directly instead of creating several copies on the webserver.

The library is meant to serve several purposes.

• It allows the web design team to easily QA the images on the site.
• It provides a resource to see what images are available for certain components
• It provides a view into what images have already been used, or could be reused.
• Supply content creators with the full path to the image in the /images directory so they may reference it directly instead of making copies elsewhere on the site -- this appears in a text input field above each images to make copying the path easier.
