Campus Ambassadors

The Sun Campus Ambassador Program hires students on college campuses around India to promote Sun technologies and tools. The goal is to build developer mindshare at the grass-roots university level among their peers and professors. Campus ambassadors are Sun interns for an entire academic year. These students are trained on Sun technologies and are required to promote these technologies at their respective campuses.

Sun campus ambassadors worldwide work on cutting edge technologies like Java, NetBeans IDE, OpenSolaris, and many more.

As part of this initiative, we have over 100 Campus Ambassadors today across various educational institutes in India

Sun Internship Programme

College graduates considering to take up internship is a way to try a new job without making a permanent commitment. An internship is a way to test the waters in the corporate world, to gain "real-life" experience.

Internships at Sun are practical, project-oriented assignments with a defined beginning and end date. Internship Programs have proven to be a phenomenal learning experience for the students. It has been a platform and a launch pad for many rewarding careers either with Sun or other MNCs.

It's a great way to get hands-on experience in a world-class company, alongside some of the industry's most talented (and even famous) professionals. Although not always possible, all internship hiring is done with the long-term goal of hiring the student upon graduation, thus increasing the quality of the Sun's future talent pipeline for entry level hires. Unlike many of our competitors Sun offers the ability to participate year round. This allows you continue to contribute and network all year long.

At Sun, you will be treated as a respected member of the team and will be given professional responsibility. Here at Sun India we provide you with opportunities to work on live projects for 3 months, 6 months and 12 months duration.
