Offering leading price/performance, the Sun Blade 2500 workstation is a robust and reliable 64-bit, dual processor-capable workstation, designed and built by Sun to visualize and solve complex technical problems. The latest Sun Blade 2500 workstation is equipped with a robust set of workstation-class features, including up to two 1.6-GHz UltraSPARC IIIi processors; up to 16 GB of DDR memory with ECC (2 CPUs required); high-bandwidth, low-latency memory controllers; expandable, high-performance storage options; multiple PCI buses; and visualization-class graphics.

The Sun Blade 2500 workstation provides outstanding performance for visually demanding graphics applications through support for the Sun XVR-1200, Sun XVR-600, or Sun XVR-100 graphics accelerators. Featuring six 64-bit PCI slots, built-in USB and IEEE 1394a (FireWire) ports, and on-board Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T), the Sun Blade 2500 workstation also enables high-throughput connectivity to a wide range of technology-leading peripherals.
