The Sun Fire(TM) V20z server is Sun's first-generation, Opteron-based, entry-level server. Capable of running Standard Linux Distributions or the Solaris(TM) x86 Operating System, the Sun Fire V20z server is designed for Tier 0, 1 and 2 applications. These 1U servers are powerful additions to the portfolio of Sun products designed for horizontally scaled compute environments. This addition is a BIOS update (version 1.26.08). The download is used to install or restore this BIOS. Included are all the instructions and resource files that are required. This version of BIOS (1.26.08) or later is a required update to run Solaris 9 on the V20z. Note: To ensure successful downloads when downloading larger files, Sun encourages the use of the Sun Download Manager
