Using Sun's Java Web Start2 technology (which is built-in to newer versions of Java Runtime Environment), you can download, install, and start-up SDM directly from the Sun Download Center download page3. Just select the files you want, then click the "Download selected with Sun Download Manager" button. No separate download and installation of SDM needed!
