The Sun Java Composite Application Platform Suite (CAPS) 5.1 contains everything an enterprise needs to develop and deploy a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) platform for the re-use of existing applications, the delivery of new services, and to enable legacy and packaged applications to rapidly integrate within an existing infrastructure. This session will provide an overview of the suite components, including Sun Java Enterprise System products that are new to existing SeeBeyond customers. The session will also cover the derivative Java Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Suite and Sun Java B2B Suite in addition to coming attractions in the product roadmap.

This session will cover enhanced capabilities for creating enterprise master indexes with Sun SeeBeyond eView Studio and Sun SeeBeyond eIndex Single Patient View, including French and Australian address support. Also covered will be ease-of-use features such as visual highlighting of differences in compared records, the initiation of work lists and on-the-fly reports from the Enterprise Data Manager, and range searching for records when exact data are not available. This session will also introduce the expanded list of databases that can be used to extract and load data using Sun SeeBeyond eTL Integrator 5.1 and will detail how the overall quality and integrity of data can be improved by using the enhanced data transformation capabilities provided in eTL Integrator 5.1.

This session will introduce new Sun SeeBeyond eVision Studio and Sun SeeBeyond eBAM Studio abilities to tightly integrate with Sun Portal through their support for the JSR-168 portlet standard. In addition, new features for eVision will be presented - these new capabilities enhance usability when creating and maintaining large numbers of eVision pages, allow developers to create re-usable objects built from custom code, and offer the developer a host of new pre-packaged objects that further enhance the ability to deliver robust Web based views of data from an integration system. A demo of several of these new features will also be given.
