If you are forced to use an older version of Solaris, such as Solaris 8 or 9, and are plugging in USB devices other than keyboard and mice, please use the USBA 1.0   framework configured for all devices on all ports. You can use the usbconfig script to configure the ports. The usbconfig script can be downloaded from the BigAdmin Scripts   section.
