On x64/x86-based systems, Emulex FC HBAs are supported for Solaris 10 and forward using the emlxs driver, Sun patch 120223-04 or later for the correct version of the driver.

On SPARC-based systems all of the current Emulex FC HBAs are supported with the emlxs driver which is compatible with Sun's storage stack (including Traffic Manager, aka mpxio) on Solaris 8, 9 and 10 distribution.

Patch levels
Sun patch 119913-05 or later for Solaris 8 distribution.
Sun patch 119914-05 or later for Solaris 9 distribution.
Sun patch 120222-04 or later for Solaris 10 distribution.

The Emulex lpfc driver is also supported for SPARC-based systems with Solaris 2.6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 distribution. Please see the Emulex website, http://www.emulex.com/ to obtain the latest drivers, utilities and information.

Please also make sure to obtain and install any required patches as explained in the patch descriptions and patch reports.
