To become authorized as a Sun OEM, your company must complete and submit an OEM Application. This application process requires you to describe your business model relative to how you will use Sun's products. Use the "Contact Us" form to obtain a copy of the application.
After signing the Sun OEM Agreement (your contract with Sun), you will be assigned an OEM Agreement number and will be authorized to purchase and resell Sun products pursuant to the terms of that agreement.
Within the first 30 days after signing, your company will want to:
Register to the OEM WebPartner web service. This password-protected web site provides access to detailed technical product, service, and sales information for Sun OEMs, Resellers, and Distributors.
Establish a minimum credit line if purchasing directly from Sun.
Implement the appropriate hardware and software support plans as referenced in your Sun OEM application.
Execute a Passport Addendum to your Sun OEM Agreement if you are planning to export products to other countries.
Join the Sun Developer ConnectionSM Program to become eligible for development, marketing, and educational offerings.
