The following information applies to all X.509 certificates issued by SunPKI Certification Authorities (CAs) hosted at and operated by VeriSign within the framework of VeriSign Trust Network (VTN).

The statement of practices employed by these CAs in issuing and managing certificates is defined in VeriSign Certification Practice Statement (CPS). VeriSign's CPS should be consulted when making trust decisions concerning certificates issued by VeriSign operated SunPKI CAs.

SunPKI team is in the process of defining its Supplement to VeriSign's CPS. The Supplement will describe those practices that are specific to SunPKI, and as such are not defined in detail in VeriSign's CPS. The Supplement will remain consistent with VeriSign's CPS, augmenting it only where providing more detail might benefit certificate users and/or relying parties. When ready, the Supplement will be available at this location.
