The UltraSPARC IIi 650-Mhz processor integrates the PCI controller, memory controller and L2 cache to provide a high-performance cost-effective, low-power solution for dense one-rack-unit servers, single-processor workstations, and embedded network servers.
  • Four-way superscalar pipeline, 64-bit wide memory interface with 800 Mbyte/sec capacity combined with 64-bit wide internal buses.
  • Includes the memory controller, PCI controller, and integrated on-chip Level 2 cache in addition to the CPU, eliminating the need for an external "Northbrige" chip.
  • Power management logic to support the design of Energy Star compliant systems.
