Sun's new UltraSPARC IV+ 64-bit processor is the fifth generation in
our UltraSPARC processor family. It comes with significantly enhanced
cores, 2 MB on-chip L2 cache, and an off-chip 32 MB L3 cache. The new
1.95 GHz and 2.1 GHz processors follows Sun's Throughput Computing vision while
continuing the tradition of binary code compatibility—and uses the
latest 90 nanometer process technology.
