In the coming months we plan to post source code, documentation, and tools based on our 64-bit, multithreaded UltraSPARC T1 processor. OpenSPARC is a new starting point for exploring new horizons and solving hard problems, where chip innovation can make a difference. In the coming months, we'll be leading and carefully listening to discussion groups. We'll also post articles and links to helpful sites and post code open for innovation. Get Connected at OpenSPARC.net In the spirit of other Open Source projects at Sun, we are developing a community website. This is your place to learn about chip development, share ideas, and perhaps even collaborate on a new chip. Here's what you can do there today: Sign up on our mailing list to get updates as the site grows Be an early contributor to our forums Write a blog about chip design and/or OpenSPARC, and send the URL so we can list it on our site Tell us how you'd like to see the site grow.
