The Netra CP2300 Telecom blade server is a CompactPSB board from Sun which supports redundant packet I/O over a compact PCI Packet Switched Backplane (cPSB) according to the PICMG 2.16 specification. Now customers can configure a scalable local area network within a 2.16 chassis using Sun's industry-proven SPARC and Solaris platform. And they can manage it in an integrated way using processor-and FRU-level manageability. This combination, along with NEBS Level-3 certification, meets the demanding requirements of telecommunications and network equipment providers.High PerformanceThe Netra CP2300 board features a 650-MHz UltraSPARC IIi processor with 512 KB of Level 2 cache and up to 2.5 GB of memory, making it ideal for high-performance, embedded, compute-dense applications. UltraSPARC technology delivers substantial data throughput at a lower cost while maintaining complete binary compatibility in an industry-standard package.
