Doubled Bind! Blueprint Initiative First to Deliver CuraGen Fruit Fly Proteomics Map

Science Magazine Data Delivered Open and Free of Charge on BIND to All Researchers For Drug Discovery and Model Organism Comparison

Chris Hoque writes: Blueprint's BIND database nearly doubled in size today with a high throughput Drosophila melanogaster dataset of over 20,000 protein interactions from US Biotechnology company CuraGen. This dataset was published in Science Express last Thursday and will appear in print early next month. Around the clock over the last four days a team of 12 people at Blueprint worked on preparing the world's first comprehensive protein interaction map for a multi-cellular organism for entry into BIND. www.blueprint.org
