Today is a historic day for Sun and our customers. Sun announced a revolutionary new business model for the new Solaris(TM) 10 Operating System (OS). Both commercial and academic customers can choose from a free, right to use (RTU)subscription or buy basic, standard or premium offerings, that offer higher levels of support and value-added services. In addition, the Solaris 10 OS will now be included as part of the Java(TM) Enterprise System for no additional charge; $50 per full-time faculty for Education customers.
