The Netra 1290 server with new high-performance UltraSPARC IV+ dual-core processors is uniquely positioned in the class of vertically integrated, ruggedized, carrier-grade servers for the telecommunications market. The Netra 1290 server provides exceptional computing power, breakthrough price/performance, and high reliability in a compact, two-per-rack frame. It scales up to 12 UltraSPARC IV+ 64-bit chip multithreading (CMT) processors, with 24 threads and up to 192 GB of memory.
