The NEBS Level 3-certified Netra CT 820 blade server is designed to meet high availability, serviceability, and manageability requirements of Network Equipment Providers (NEPs) deploying wireless, wireline, and Internet services in a communications network. Supporting up to 18 hot-swappable blade servers, such as the Netra CP2300 Telecom blade, in a 12U chassis, the cPSB-based Netra CT 820 blade server offers an exceptional level of modularity for server applications. The Netra CT 820 blade server provides an extremely flexible, highly-manageable platform that enables NEPs to focus on application development and service delivery without having to assemble the underlying compute platform from building blocks of blades, chassis, management, switches, operating system and HA software.

The Netra CT 820 blade server features hot-swappable fan trays, switches, system management cards, disk drives, and power supplies, as well as configurable, redundant 24-port 10/100-Mbps Ethernet switches. The Netra CT 820 blade server also runs the robust, industry-proven Solaris Operating System, allowing previous, as well as future, Solaris OS applications to run without modifications.
