Welcome to Sun's HPC ClusterTools Software community source code access site. Sun HPC ClusterTools technology source code is now freely available through the Sun Community Source Code License (SCSL) model. Our Community Source Licensing Model is the result of Sun's continued commitment to the open development of key technologies. The SCSL model is a license model designed for distributing source code among the developer community. The model is based on a set of principles outlined in our newly released "Community Source License Principles". The goal of this program is to spur innovation and foster a broader relationship with the HPC community. Making intellectual property readily available for evaluation and early-stage development will increase the rate of innovation, allowing new products to be developed more quickly. We believe our licensees will realize increased competitiveness and profitability. Community members can help each other refine, extend, and improve HPC ClusterTools technologies by sharing information and test-driving the technologies without the barrier of up-front fees.
