Bad news comes in threes--and it now looks like Microsoft has received what could be the knockout punch. Just weeks after Sun Microsystems filed suit against Microsoft and Ralph Nader scheduled a conference in Washington D.C. to discuss Microsoft's business practices, the Justice Department asked a federal court to impose a $1 million-a-day fine against Microsoft. The DOJ is objecting to Microsoft's licensing practices, an issue that was also raised by the European Commission last week in a Reuters report.
