The Solaris 8 Migration Assistant is a software and services offering that accelerates the migration of application environments currently using Solaris 8 to new systems running Solaris 10. The Migration Assistant has components that capture the entire environment of the Solaris 8 source system and then transfer this environment to a Solaris Container running on the target Solaris 10 system.
