With its eight DDR2 DIMM slots per processor socket–16 per blade–you can configure the blade for a large memory footprint using smaller (1GB, 2GB) cost efficient memory DIMMs, thereby reducing your total system cost. Or stack it full with 4 GB DIMMs for applications that need a lot of memory.
