Recommended /etc/system parameters for Sun Fire T2000 systems
Where instructed, cut the following parameters and paste them into /etc/system
Solaris 10 08/07
No additions are required when running Solaris 10 08/07
Solaris 10 11/06
If you are running Solaris 10 11/06, please apply the following parameters:
set pcie:pcie_aer_ce_mask=0x1
reboot your system
Solaris 10 6/06
If you are running Solaris 10 6/06, please apply the following parameters:
set ip:ip_squeue_bind = 0
set ip:ip_squeue_fanout = 1
set ipge:ipge_tx_syncq=1
set ipge:ipge_bcopy_thresh = 512
set ipge:ipge_dvma_thresh = 1
set pcie:pcie_aer_ce_mask=0x1
reboot your system
Solaris 10 1/06
If you are running Solaris 10 1/06, please apply the following parameters:
set ip:ip_squeue_bind = 0
set ip:ip_squeue_fanout = 1
set ipge:ipge_tx_syncq=1
set ipge:ipge_bcopy_thresh = 512
set ipge:ipge_dvma_thresh = 1
set consistent_coloring=2
set pcie:pcie_aer_ce_mask=0x1
reboot your system
Solaris 10 HW2B5
Note, if you are running are running S10HW2B5, please consider upgrading to Solaris 10 08/07, available at:
http://www.sun.com/software/solaris/get.jsp.
If you do not wish to upgrade, please add the following parameters:
